The ranger station's address is:
902 SE North Bend Way, Bldg 1
North Bend, WA 98045
Operating Hours: current hours
Phone Number: (425) 888-1421
Driving Directions:
Drive I-90 to Exit 32. Turn north at end of exit ramp. Turn left at "T" intersection on North Bend Way. In approximately one mile, the Ranger Station is on your right.
Please note: We will not hike a full route; we will simply wander a bit in order to locate Christmas trees and to avoid cutting down too many trees in one spot. Bringing work gloves, a tarp, a small shovel, and a saw are strongly recommended.
The Mount Baker–Snoqualmie National Forest allows the harvesting of a Christmas tree; some restrictions apply and everyone\every family who would like to cut a Christmas tree must purchase a $10 permit in advance.
Leader plans on bringing a folding camp table plus a stove for making hot cider. Bring a mug!
- Every Kid in a Park pass holders can receive a free Christmas tree permit at the ranger stations by presenting an Every Kid in a Park pass or valid paper voucher printed from the Every Kid in a Park website, which is everykidinapark.gov
