Day Hike - Lake Ingalls

Let's do my favorite Fall hike to visit the golden larches. Participants have to be COVID19 vaccinated and be able to walk steep terrain, possibly icy path and have traction devices such as microspikes. We will set a moderate pace with breaks for snacks, hydration and pictures of larches. Details to follow.

  • Strenuous
  • Moderate
  • Mileage: 9.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 2,600 ft
  • Pace: 2 mph

Will plan to meet at the trailhead at 8 am sharp. Boots on the trail by 8:15 am. Details of directions will be emailed later to all participants.

This is a moderate to strenuous hike depending on your conditioning. Please do not sign up if you've not hiked for a while or are recovering from illness or surgery. Please plan on cold weather and bring layers, warm gloves, hiking poles, sturdy boots and microspikes.
