Day Hike - Green Mountain: Wildcat Trail

Fairly easy day hike with potential nice view at summit - Dog Friendly

  • Easy/Moderate
  • Easy
  • Mileage: 9.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 1,000 ft

9:30am at the Wildcat lake trailhead, 10810 NW Holly Road, Bremerton.  If anyone wants to carpool from the Bainbridge/Poulsbo/Silverdale area, let me know and we'll work something out.  If you are coming from Seattle, I can pick up a few (dog-less) people at the Bainbridge ferry terminal (you would need to be on the 7:55).

At the request of folks who have done local hiking with me before, I am designating this hike as "dog friendly" - so feel free to bring your dog if desired (must be leashed). This is a nice Kitsap area hike without much elevation gain or a huge drive out to the Olympics.  Weather permitting, there should be a nice view of Seattle.  But plan on it being muddy, and probably at least drizzling, so be prepared with good boots and weather gear.  There is also a possibility of some snow - I will update you on conditions as we get closer.
