Day Hike - Cleman Mountain–Hardy Canyon Loop

14 miles, 3400', in the Wenas Wildlife area, up Hardy Canyon, along the Cleman Mt. Ridge, and down Woodcamp Ridge. There will be birds, flowers, and possibly wildlife.

  • Strenuous
  • Challenging
  • Mileage: 14.0 mi
  • Elevation Gain: 3,400 ft
  • Pace: 1.75-2 MPH

9:00 on Wenas Road 100 feet east of Black Canyon Road, on the turnoff to the south, use Google maps and this link https://maps.app.goo.gl/2uqPY6xN5BT9b7pn8 or these coordinates   46.833517, -120.711889

One carpooling option is 6:45 at East Sunset Way Trailhead in Issaquah. I need a ride and at least 1 person willing to drive and to stop here. Use google maps and this link https://goo.gl/maps/mRhg66mHo9tyXkAc9

I haven't been on any of our route  https://caltopo.com/m/3HR9B  I have no idea what we will see, it's an adventure for me. It's almost entirely a loop with varied terrain and ecosystems at a good time of the year for flowers. There could be ticks and rattlesnakes.
