8:15am at the Silver Fir Lodge parking lot (47.4005, -121.4069). No parking pass required. Please arrive a few minutes early and be geared up and ready to go by 8:15am. We'll leave by 8:30 if there are any no-shows.

Note: Restrooms at the trailhead won't be open yet, so please plan accordingly.

The goal is to reach Surveyors Lake, which may require some off-trail navigation and backpacking as we find our way. Along the way we may try to reach two other lakes (Hyak and/or Rockdale).

The group will stick together and make decisions as a group. We'll turn around if it gets too steep or brushy.

Pace will be moderate, especially on the steeper sections.
