Meet in the Stevens Pass Nordic Center lot, ready to go at 8am. No parking pass needed. There is a restroom in the Nordic Center, but it does not open until 9am.
We’ll gather as a group in the parking area. After introductions, we’ll set out on the Lanham Lake Trail. The route has a steady uphill the whole way with some steeper sections, similar to hiking the Chirico Trail to Poo Poo Point on Tiger Mountain. We will target a pace of 2 mph, but we will adjust according to the needs of the group.
Along the way, we can pause to admire the scenery and we'll take breaks for snacks and water each hour. At the lake, we'll take a slightly longer snack break. Then we'll return to the trailhead the way we came.
Please note that we may need to change locations or cancel the trip due to weather, road conditions, or avalanche danger.
