This climb will give priority to Basic students needing a glacier climb to graduate. This is an ideal climb for those not yet ready to do a Rainier type summit. We will coordinate on the gear to bring to minimize loads.
We will camp near Hannegan Pass on Day 1 with option to climb Hannegan Peak, a 1.1 mile and 1100' climb from there and then summit Ruth Peak on Day 2.
All participants must monitor conditions and be responsive to emails in order to participate. Carpooling is encouraged. Passes are required to park at the TH.
Meet at 9:30 at the trailhead.
