Trip will start on Friday or Saturday. Choosing best weather day or availability of camping permit. Be available for either start day.  

Little Tahoma/East Shoulder, approach from Meany Crest.

Priority: Trip priority will be for Everett Basic students until June 14th and Everett instructors/or intermediate climbing students for rope leader roles.

Skills/Fitness:  This is a challenging route with steep slopes and traverses. Must be comfortable and skilled with ascending/descending/traversing steep slopes. With prior scramble experience. If you are not yet comfortable on this terrain start with other basic glacier (and do more scrambling) routes to gain experience.  Strong fitness is also a requirement. 

Timing: Registration will start on 6/4. 

Use request leader permission button: to email the trip leader sharing information about your training plan/fitness program and how you are getting ready for your basic climbs.  Please include the recent conditioning hikes you've been doing (length, elevation gain and weight carried). Including the plan for April, May and June as you continue to prepare for your basic climbs. Also, please share your scramble experience and comfort on steep rocky/dirt, or snow slopes.
