Details will be emailed to participants the week of the climb.

Participants should be in top physical condition and comfortable with exposure. They should also be prepared to take part in the trip as full members — that means preparing in advance to help with navigation, carrying personal gear plus team equipment, speaking up about risks and needs, and helping to make group decisions.

Priority will be given to current Bellingham Basic Course students who meet fitness requirements and are in need of a glacier or alpine climb. Interested Bellingham students should email Amy Arnold after Snow II at amysarnold@yahoo.com to request permission. Include current physical training you’re doing, examples of long hikes or physically demanding approaches you’ve done in the past, and any other Basic climbs you have completed or registered for this season.
