A recent article by the OPB has spurred my interest in this climb as the glaciers have nearly disappeared that used to make this a Basic Glacier Climb... I wanted to go see what is left of the glaciers before they are gone... Link to the article HERE

  • Mountain boots that can accept crampons (not hiking boots)

  • A back pack (40 to 60 liters)

  • 2 straight/wire gate carabiners
  • 2 locking carabiners
  • 1 Large pear-shaped carabiner

  • Climbing harness (light glacier harness if you have it)
  • Helmet
  • Chock pick (nut tool)
