Mount McLoughlin TH at 7.30 AM. We will start early AM to tackle the heat.
Plan for the week: The leader is planning a week long trip to Oregon and California to climb three volcanoes - Lassen Peak, Mt Thielsen and McLoughlin. This would mean- a road trip with potential participants with side tours to hot springs/ lakes/ breweries. Participants should be vaccinated and preferably flexible in scheduling and help with trip planning
About this Trip:
This is southern most oregon volcano - with beautiful views
For folks driving down from Seattle, Please make sure you are ariving at the TH the night before, to account for good rest and acclimatization.
We will follow Covid protocols as necessary.
Considering the amount of planning required to get this trip going, please only request permission if you are 100% sure you can make the climb and are in perfect condition. Last minute cancellations on this trip will be frowned and will go on my personal no-go list.
