Preston P&R at 7 AM
We'll approach via Salmon La Sac and park along FS Road 4330 (Cle Elum Valley road) near Camp Creek. No 4WD or high clearance vehicle required. NW Forest Pass may be required.
Plan is to ascend via what is shown on CalTopo as Trail #1228 (trail may or may not actually exist). This route is shown here. We will scramble Hawkins Mountain via the SW ridge.
