Required:
- Previous T5 rock scrambling experience!
- Comfort on rock with LOTS of exposure!!
- Helmet
- Mountaineering boots (no climbing shoes)
- Headlamp with good batteries
- Extra batteries
- Harness (such as a webbing harness tied with a water knot)
- Locking carabiner
- Cord loop (for a klemheist or prusik)
- NW Forest Pass for each vehicle (not a Discover Pass)
This is an after-hours evening trip, finishing in the dark.
Leave your ice ax at home.
Trip takes roughly 5+ hrs from car to car.
Sunset is at 8:50pm.
We'll descend the easy trail down the north side of Guye.
Might need to allow extra driving time for rush hour.
We'll only do this trip if the rock is dry and there's no rain in the forecast...if the trip is canceled due to weather then there won't be an alternate destination.
