Alpine Scramble - Goat Island Mountain

Various P&Rs to accommodate attendees, then 7am at the White River entrance station (to use restrooms) before driving a short distance to the Fryingpan Creek trailhead. Allow for a 2 hour drive time from the Seattle area.

We'll use the east ridge route to give ourselves great views as we ascend towards the summit. For variety we'll plan on a loop trip with our return by way of the footbridge across Fryingpan creek at ~5200'.  Photos from past trips can be seen here.
