Alpine Scramble - Baldy—Gray Wolf Ridge—Mount Deception Traverse
A gorgeous, immersive, and varied 4 day alpine traverse that feels like a short version of The Bailey Range Traverse. It includes stunning vistas from Gray Wolf Ridge, a challenging but relatively low hazard ascent of Mt Deception (2nd highest peak in the Olympics), a descent through upper Royal Basin, and a final night’s stay near Petunia Peaks before returning to civilization.
