Great climb. Road closed adding a 20 minute walk each way.
Road still closed at Iron Peak th adding a mile out and back. Patchy snow around 5,700 and complete coverage after Ingalls Pass.
Route is pretty much snow free all the way to Burgundy Col.
Successful climb of both peaks. Conditions were good and described below.

A successful climb of the North Ridge of Mount Baker
Solid snow pack still present above 5000 ft. Snow conditions were very good allowing for straight forward travel. Trail in the woods is still well marked with mostly pink tape.
Left Port Hadlock on schedule at 11am, paddling north to Kala Point then across to Fort Flagler boat launch for first break. Next, down Kilisut Harbor on the rising tide to Mystery Bay for second break. Made the run down Scow Bay to meet the 7' tide level at the culverts, glided through, portaged to Oak Bay, then rode the ebb through the Port Townsend Canal back to Port Hadlock.
Relaxing 4 day climb with a successful summit
A 3L pot and white gas stove were the MVPs of the trip!
Late June one-day trip. The route is in excellent condition, though the road is still closed.
Saturday’s bluebird skies, warm temperatures and deeper than normal snow made for a perfect day with absolutely spectacular vistas.
Snow bridges are melting out fairly quickly. Crampons or microspikes both worked for the approach and return. Snowshoes not required.
Successful loop from Milepost 21 gate, up to Boston Basin, the Quien Sabe Glacier, summit block, rap off the back, down Sahale Glacier and Sahale arm loop.
Great trip with hot weather and amazing scenery.
Awesome glacier and rock conditions; strong group made for easy climb
The trail is in beautiful shape. We went to the mine first - as you arrive at the mine site you will come to two campsites - the right fork goes on up to the lake and the left fork allows you to cross over a small creek and follow the unmarked trail to the mine. There is a small path that runs alongside the scree hill, making it very passable. After the mine visit we headed back down to the Tull Canyon trail head. There you will go up a pretty steep (.6 miles) section. As the trail levels off you will see the wreckage sight on your left. This was a great hot weather hike as much of the trail is shaded.
