A long strenuous day on the other side of Chair Peak
Beautiful winter day with sunshine and a nice packed path through plenty of snow.
A beach hike starting at Ruby Beach and going south for about 3 miles from there. We also visited Big Cedar and the Tree of Life on the way home.
Hike through a local forest to a view.
A great trip to a less visited peak at Mt. Rainier.
We parked on the road about 200 ft west of gate that is on the way to the trailhead. there were a dozen cars there when we got back. 2 of our party's cars had the door lock damaged by someone trying to break into the cars. Lock replacement needed for both cars. What a pain. The hike was fun. Not many people on this trail.
Another rarely done scramble that turned out better than expected.
Traversed from Tunnel Creek Road to Mill Creek (Stevens Pass Nordic Center).
Great trip but disappointing that avy conditioned forced a turnaround. Nice weather for climb day and nice group of people.
Perfect conditions and with a strong team finished with time to spare
road paved and plowed all the way to a few feet from cayuse horse camp. excellent route conditions too.
A nice winter paddle with plenty of weather changes that ended in sunshine. Photo credit: Terence Soh
A beautiful and fun trip for Tacoma MAC to test out our snow legs
A fun Explorers hike up Mt. Rose to the horse camp with a beautiful backdrop of snowflakes falling and 2-3 inches of new snow at the horse camp for lunch.
Overnight trip for Lovers Lane successful.
A full-value winter experience and a successful summit on a good day, with multiple other groups on the route.
We hit this one just right - cool, clear, no wind, and excellent snow for climbing. Kachess has a long ridge run through open forest and is well worth a try.
Fantastic day for this scenic and lonesome loop trip
