Loop trip: Bean Peak via Bean Creek Basin, Volcanic Neck, Devil's Head, returned to trail xing at Bean-Volcanic Neck saddle, then W trail to Beverly Turnpike Trail and Bean/Beverly trail. 7 hrs c2c.
Luhr launch with counter-clockwise loop around Ketron and a subsequent crossing to Anderson.

Route is in OK condition, first 3 pitches are consolidated snow with solid pickets, ice is coming in on the last pitch though it's a bit patchy.

Great trip, and great group! Pretty relaxing overnight at Goat Lake. A bit smoky, but not too impactful. Trail is in good shape. Arrived at 8:30 on a Saturday morning to only a few cars in the parking lot. A few other groups camping near the lake, but overall not very crowded at all. Mask use 50/50.
Beautiful scramble cruising along the PCT and some scree sidehilling, bushwhacking and solid rock scrambling at the top
Great views of the Mount Stuart and the Teanaways - lots of route finding and lots of challenging up and down rock scrambling.
Successful summit (of the true summit) of Luna Peak
Too early in season for a quality ice climb. Lots of medium to soft snow. Most efficient climb would be running belay with pickets under these conditions. Spray Park was gorgeous and worth a hike in itself.
Good weather and current assist. We arrived at Jarrell Cove early so the group continued on to Dougall point and across the passage to McLane Cove before returning to Jarrell Cove Marina for a lunch break. Return to the launch was pleasant with one more cove exploration and only a slight headwind.
All is not lost.

Fun climb in perfect weather
This is a long day hike, but you can reach both peaks on the Teanaway 20 list without leaving the trail. We threw into a few scramble diversions for entertainment and a short side trip to Jester Mountain to boot.
