A climb team of four successfully completed a one-day climb of Forbidden on Saturday 6/4/2016. Weather & snow conditions were near optimal for this trip, and the snow finger leading to the 4th class scramble gulley topping out at the notch on the west ridge was viable.

The Wallace Lake/Greg Ball Trail was a pleasant moderate hike perfectly shaded with breezes for a very warm day like today. Away from the Wallace Falls trail crowds, it also offered relative peace and solitude
This was a student paddle with Tacoma Basic Class students. We launched at the Horsehead Bay Boat Ramp and Circumnavigated Raft Island, stopped at Cuts Island and practiced rescues when we returned to Horsehead Bay.
This was a student paddle. The trip planned to leave from the Des Moines Marina and paddle north to Seahurst Park in Burien. Due to predicted wind conditions the route was changed to launch from Redondo boat ramp of Des Moines and paddle south to Dash Point County Park.
A beautiful day in the alpine on an easy and short climb in the Tatoosh.
Trail is in good shape to the Ira Spring Memorial. Excellent view from there.
