Blue skies overhead as we traveled through foggy mists, with sun breaks. 4" of new snow over hard pack, the beaten trail was very beaten, though we enjoyed areas of exploring off trail.
Enjoyed a beautiful December day kayaking around Chuckanut Bay and Wildcat cove to see amazing Sandstone rock formations. I had heard of this place for a while, but never been to it - it is worth visiting via kayak.
Gorgeous views of the SW aspect of Mount Rainier, as well as a bit of spice at the Pyramid Creek crossing. A beautiful day on this ~13 mile/~3700’ gain Winter Scramble.

Gorgeous views in all directions (especially of Mt. Constance), and a welcome pandemic workout on this 5K’, 7 mile Winter Scramble from the Dosewallips River Road.
Beautiful 12.1 nautical miles paddle to a Private Island - it was worth going by the ship wrecks (ships sunk in early 1900s), we saw regular marine life (may seals, et al) along the way.
Winter Wonderland on a snowed in Forest Road. Made it only to Lake Eleanor - Adding 8 ish miles of road walk to the TH out and back
