Cloudy conditions with some thunder in the distance once we made the summit. We took a cross country shortcut on the way back that proved to be much more enjoyable than the jeep road.
Beautiful day. Trail was almost completely melted out. We found some snow to glissade and plunge step on the way down off trail.

This is a jewel of a climb. Conditions were perfect for this two day climb of a classic ridge with amazing North Cascade views.
Successful late season climb of Mount Garibaldi. High clearance 4x4 needed to get to the trailhead, large boulders may obstruct the road
A group of eight of us round tripped the SEWS/S. Arete on Saturday in great weather. Great views of lots of inspiring objectives from the top!
A good but and fairly strenuous scramble with a long forest ascent on rough climber's trail leading to heather and then a pleasant mixed snow and rock finish.
Clear skies, a full moon rising over the Adams glacier, and a few rope lengths of enjoyable ice. Can't complain.
This is a quick fun trip that involves some snow/rock scrambling and a short 5.easy rock pitch at the top.

Trip originally scheduled for Sheep Lake (Chinook Pass) but changed due to snow.4
Successful trip to Hope Island to explore the minus 2.4 foot tide. Lots of low tide marine life. Mild conditions. Overcast to start, turned to sun. Some currents but to be expected.
This trip was mostly a pleasant trail hike, with about 400 to 500 feet of rock scrambling at the end. Views were excellent.
Unexpected adventures added to this fabulous day on our favorite volcano!
