Day Hiking & Urban Adventure
A new state park on Harstine Island in Mason County near Olympia. The property was purchased by State Parks, Trust for Public Land and Washington Wildlife and Recreation coalition. The park is currently underdeveloped but open to the public. The plan is to keep the shoreline intact and add a few new trails.
Canyoning
A short, beautiful Basic Canyon in the Hoodsport area. It's rated v3a3II at moderate-low water levels, and v3a4II in early to mid-season.
A smaller sport climbing crag above the shores of Cle Elum Lake. Routes range from 5.7 to 5.10d.
Day Hiking
A short, more primitive, dog-friendly hike in Capitol State Forest near Olympia.
A 400 foot buttress set above the Cheakamus River in British Columbia with several moderate sport and trad multi-pitch climbs.
Canyoning
A short, technical/intermediate roadside canyon, great for the off-season.

A 10-acre woodland preserve along the White River that is semi-developed featuring a picnic area, restrooms, camping, and hiking trails. A section of the White River Trail also passes through the park giving hikers the option to lengthen their hike and visit Roegner and Mill Pond Parks.

Scrambling
Gardner Mountain & North Gardner Mountain is a scramble of 27 miles with 8,100 feet of gain.

Day Hiking
This short trail in the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River valley offers sweeping views of the valley within an hour’s drive of Seattle. It's 2.2 miles round trip with 630 feet of elevation gain.
Canyoning
Nestled beneath jagged mountain peaks, Gargoyles is a charming canyon that features a number of multi-tiered waterfalls and sweeping vistas of the river valley below. The canyon drops steeply off the eastern flank of Del Campo Peak, losing 1,100 feet of elevation in less than 0.4 miles and ending in a scenic final sequence at the valley bottom. It is rated v3a3V from mid-summer through fall.

A beautiful park on Seattle's Lake Union close to the Fremont and University District neighborhoods. Features open space, a large hill with sundial, picnic tables, grills, children's play barn, snack bar, restrooms, and access to the Burke-Gilman Trail.

A moderately strenuous day hike or backpack to Dairy Creek Meadows and Gearhart Mountain. It's up to 12 miles round trip and 1,920 feet of elevation gain. Gearhart Mountain is an ancient shield volcano located in the Gearhart Mountain Wilderness near Bly in south central Oregon.
