Urban Adventure & Urban Walking
This urban trail is and 1.1 mile one way with no elevation gain. It extends from Royal Brougham to South Forest Street on the east side of the Seattle's SODO rail and bus route. There are murals painted by international artists exploring the theme of movement and progress along the path.
Located along the Sol Duc River, the Sol Duc Hot Springs Resort Campground is on the "edge of the backcountry in the heart of the Olympic National Park" with hot spring pools and access to many hiking trails.

A Grade III, 5.6, 9-pitch rock climb in Red Rock Canyon near Las Vega, Nevada. It's one of the best moderate rock climbs in he country.

Scrambling
Also known as "Fish Eagle Peak," Solomon is a quiet peak up the Salmon La Sac road with great vistas to the east and west ends of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. The South Scatter Creek trail gets few visitors because there are no easy destinations, but Solomon is a moderate and worthy scramble.

Songbird Peak is also know as MMM and Midmountain Mountain. It an easy to moderate scramble from Change Creek which is a good hike on its own with views from Hall Point. A short rock scramble at the top gives good views of Mount Teneriffe and Green Mountain to the west, Mailbox Peak to the north and Snoqualmie Pass to the east. Easter Island, Machu Picchu, and Greenway Mountains are all good destinations on their own or combined with any of the other peaks.

Scramble to Point 5273 as it is labelled int he Green Trails and USGS maps and visit seldom-seen alpine lakes in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness. Do this in winter to avoid the brush after the snow melts.
Backcountry Skiing, Scrambling & Snowshoeing
A snowshoe and ski trip trip near Snoqualmie Pass to a lake that is a destination on its own or the starting point for adventures like a winter scramble of Wright Peak or a circumnavigation of Chair Peak. Enjoy Views of Guye Peak, Denny Peak, The Tooth, and Chair Peak.

An easy, 7 mile round trip day hike with 1,570 ft in elevation gain beginning at Chinook Pass and passing Sheep Lake near Mount Rainier. This trail connects with the Crystal Lakes trail and the two can be combined for a glorious alpine lake outing with a car shuttle.

A very strenuous, 11-mile round trip hike with 5,085 feet of elevation gain in the North Cascades. The trail heads up steeply and steadily through forests and meadows to an old lookout with amazing views of the Cascades.
Day Hiking
Hike 9-10 miles with 500-1,500 feet of elevation gain. Hike along the South Fork trails with views of the surrounding mountains and a nice spot for lunch along the river. Hike along the South Fork and then up the Middle Fork for for a more challenging hike. Both are great alternate hikes near Cascade Pass.
This convenient location in the Newport Way neighborhood of Bellevue has good parking and a range of large to small meeting and banquet spaces as well as outdoor trails and greenspace and a small climbing wall.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
Hike to the up Coldwater Ridge where there are views of a volcanic landscape. It's 6.8 miles round trip with 1,525 feet of elevation gain to the Coldwater Peak Trail junction. For more mileage, continue on to the Coldwater Lake Trail, or the Coldwater Peak Saddle.
