A short trip with great views of the north side of Mount Erie and the Deception Pass area. Only a few sections are steep and the tread is in excellent condtion.
Beautiful backpacking trip to Navaho Pass and climb of Navaho Peak
Summited Big & West Craggy on Sunday June 19th, 2016 in 12 hours car to car. Fun trip with lots of cross-country travel on a variety of (and fantastic) Pasayten terrain features and only minor route finding challenges. Lovely views!

Great day on the water. Good wind and good crew.
With rain and wind in the forecast we changed the destination from Vets Peak in the North Cascades to Baldy (Easton).
RD: Major pot holes all the way to trail head. Trail: 2 Trees down over trail in first mile, a few snow patches mile before smmit, trail cold use some maintenance. LOOKOUT: Needs overhaul, paint, roof, shutters, grafitte becoming an issue. Installed nuts to secure shutters up.

Great group of hikers- all good walkers. Fun to stop at stre and library.
Straightforward spring conditions with direct ascent of Lynch glacier.
Loop trip from Unicorn saddle to Boundary peak then Stevens peak, exiting via Maple creek.
Pretty good scramble - good workout. Slate-gray overcast with brief sun-breaks. Comfortable weather for climbing, but not much for views; all summits were in the clouds.
3:48 car to hibox summit. snow on route, but it is avoidable. route in good condition. road is open and has some potholes. no bugs. perfect time for a trip up hibox.
