Dinner with a view and flowers on the table. Excellent dinner party!
Balmy night with constant up and down including an historical finish at Rev Martin Luther King Jr Memorial.
We camped at the lake and summited on Sunday, skiing out.
A straight-forward, beautiful one-day alpine trip off the Mountain Loop Hwy to a small, craggy peak.
Great conditions on the route.
Successful climb of Leuthold couloir
Absolutely gorgeous area although the walk along the road gets tedious at times. Brian does a good job looking out for everyone and has entertaining group activities.
A short and sweet snow climb in the Tatoosh.
First time visiting the conservatory. I practiced taking close-ups of the flowers & plants without the use of a tripod (strictly hand-held). I also tried a couple of in-camera multiple exposures.
9 Mountaineers enjoyed a pleasant snow scramble of Arrowhead Mountain on 5/6/17.
With all the hot weather earlier in the week, Denny Creek was flowing too high and fast to cross. Instead, we followed the west bank of Denny Creek toward Denny Lake and discovered a gorgeous bowl. Worth coming back to next winter and exploring more (as long as avalanche conditions are low).
Road open to lower trail head, snow that is on trail is well traveled and consolidated.
Lovely spring day in the Columbia River Gorge.
Water was running too high at first crossing. We switched to Little Ranger Creek.
Classroom Session 2 - Very helpful in building better picture of upcoming events and kayaking environment.
Climbed three days at Smith Rock, including "The Pioneer Route" (5.7 A0) on Monkey Face and much more!
Another grand stairways walk including the "stairs to nowhere" on the UW campus.
