The trails on the north side of the power road are particularly nice and make a nice addition to a lowlands run. And, there's a big tree.
Water color sketching in the Arboretum with 17 sketchers and leaders in a drizzling rain with light wind. We learned from each other and enjoyed a profusion of greens from new leaves and grasses.

Wet but warm FT brought 61 students their Wilderness Navigation badge -- anticipated winds were a no show. Treated to a never before seen ground-hugging horizontal rainbow during a brief squall.
Wheels were good to have as we crossed the street with our boats. Beach launch to a paddle with a great view of marine life and restrooms close by.
Wet and cold, but we got exercise and enjoyed our sack dinner together.
Good timing made for an incredible weekend scramble.

Successful winter overnight climb of Eldorado.
In mixed weather, we summitted Cowlitz Rock, instead of the longer loop trip we'd initially intended.
Trail is in good condition. We put on spikes about 1/2 way up. Boulder field is somewhat visible.
This hike was an easy path with many pockets of surprise. The views of the falls and the snow fall on top of that made it magical.
