Beautiful day in this uncrowded, wonderful place!

South Slope Route has no problems and small crevasses. However, when looking at the glacier from the summit, there are obvious sags that may soon open up.
Tipsoo Lake, Sheep Lake, wildflower meadows, and stunning vistas along the PCT.
Pleasant evening for dinner with a view.
We had a fun hike to Grand Prospect, where we did a yoga practice to stretch and relax before heading back down the trail.
Mt Hinman via necklace valley.
This is a unique riverine tidal estuary with much peace and many birds. Protected water, river current could matter if spring runoff. End summer, no problem with that. Just really different than the usual saltwater Paddle.
Good weather and good company on Jackita Ridge.
Successful trip! All group members demonstrated commitment, skill, and flexibility.
An unnamed summit as well as many marmots on this gorgeous tour of Wilson and Van Trump Parks (and the cleaver between). A great workout on this counter clockwise traverse which included a cooling visit to Comet Falls and a final bit of exploration along the Nisqually River.
Nice cool weather day for this trip with top-notch Mountaineers!
Fantastic moderate multipitch climb along a knife-edge ridge with outstanding views of the North Cascades and Picket Range.
Water flowing south of high camp at 7,600 feet. No crevasse hazard to speak of. Rockfall hazard from the cliffs above the upper Whitman glacier. Loose scree in the exit gulley at 10,800 feet must be avoided, as it could slide onto the glacier.
Perfect weather to enjoy the best trail in the state!
Perfect weather day, great time on a fun route with lots of opportunities to practice different alpine rock skills.
