Day Hiking & Snowshoeing
An easy, 4.4 mile hike in summer and snowshoe in winter with 225 feet of elevation gain. On this hike travel through old-growth forest and enjoy views of Gunn Peak and Merchant Peak on the trail. Across the lake is a stunning view of the north face of Baring Mountain.

A strenuous, 8 mile round trip day hike with 3,250 feet of elevation gain. The trail ascends an old miners trail through forests to a fire lookout with views of distant Glacier Peak.

A terrific, moderate ridge walk with fabulous views into the Norse Peak Wilderness near Mount Rainier on a clear day. It's 9.5 miles round trip and 2,300 feet of elevation gain.
Climbing
A sport climbing area with bolted routes on good quality rock in the alpine environment south of The Tooth near Snoqualmie Pass. The name of the area comes from the French holiday, same day some of the routes were established.
Climbing & Day Hiking
An easy 2-mile hike with 600 feet of elevation gain. The trail switchbacks up the southern face of the 848-foot basalt rock that rises over the Columbia River and great views. There are technical climbing routes on the rock, many closed seasonally for peregrine falcon nesting.
Day Hiking
A nice shady hike along a lakeshore trail in the Colville National Forest. Follow a gently graded trail that takes you up through cedar forest and down along the shoreline with opportunities for a swim. It's 11.2 miles round trip with 2,100 feet of elevation gain.
Backcountry Skiing, Backpacking, Day Hiking & Scrambling
Hike, backpack, and scramble in the Teanaway area. Hike and backpack the trails in and around Bean Creek Basin. Scramble one of more many peaks including Bean Peak,Earl Peak, Volcanic Neck, Bills Peak, Judi's Peak, and Mary's Peak. Bean Basin is the area where we have our Alpine Scrambling Course's Experience Field Trip.
Canyoning
A charming creek tucked in the Skykomish River Valley, Bear Creek offers 7 rappels with beautiful waterfalls, deep blue pools, and a glimpse of the salmon run in autumn where the creek meets the river. Bear Creek is rated v3a3 IV in late August and September.
Day Hiking
A short, 7-mile hike in the Goat Rocks Wilderness to a summit with great views. With 1,000 feet of elevation gain in the last mile, it's also a challenging hike.

A combination hike and scramble in the Carbon River area of Mount Rainier National Park, with 2,900 feet of elevation gain in a round trip of 8 miles. Good views of Summit Lake and one broad summit for lunch.

Scrambling
A semi-remote and rarely-visited peak nestled along the Snoqualmie Pass/I-90 corridor adjacent to the Cedar River Watershed. This year-round scramble has a includes walking on decommissioned Forest Service roads, bushwacking, boot pathstree, bushwhack, and snow depending on the season. This moderate scramble is 6-10 miles with up to 3,500 feet of elevation gain.

A moderate, 8 mile round-trip hike with 2,263 feet of elevation gain. This hike takes you through old-growth forest and features views of surrounding peaks - Glacier Peak, the Monte Cristo Range, and many more.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
A 6 mile round trip day hikes with 2,200 feet of elevation gain off the Mountain Loop Highway. The route to alpine meadows below Sloan Peak is steep and the trail sometimes obscure. It is recommended only for experienced hikers.
Scrambling
A good one day rock scramble that has a little bit of everything. River crossing, navigation in thick forests, snow travel, and a short Class 2-3 rock scramble. All topped off with one of the best summit views of any peak on the mountain loop highway.

One of the most beautiful trails in northern Idaho, this trail has spectacular views of Lake Pend Oreille, Hope, Clark Fork and all the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Urban Adventure & Urban Walking
An urban refuge, encompassing 53 acres of cultivated gardens, restored woodlands, and natural wetlands. With a classroom-style seating capacity of 150, the Aaron Education Center is ideal for meetings, events, classes and lectures. Use of facilities is restricted to nonprofit group activities.
