Sunny and warm for a picnic on Cedar Butte. A very pleasant evening.
If it weren't for the mosquitoes, it would have been an epic day. Did the ridge run from East Fay to Pleasant for fun
The route is snow-free only on the first pitch you see some snow which can be avoided.
Back in action after injury on the Easton Glacier, a classic trade route of the mountain.
Light rain on the hike up to the lake but then the sun came out with plenty of blueberries and salmonberries to pick along the way. We ascended up the back side after going through a rock field and had a challenging but rewarding scramble up the T4 mountain which required the use of some route finding and the rope and our harnesses for safety. We summited around 3 PM and made it back to the trailhead with the last light of the day. 10/10 would definitely do it again.
A fun climb with a strong team!
Super fun climb of the Beckey Route of Liberty Bell as well as the North Face of Concord Tower.
Fantastic climb with a great all-women team. Route in perfect condition!
Solitude, breathtaking flowers, meandering meadows, glacial vistas, and herds of wildlife, all within a mile of the crowdzilla at the Comet Falls trailhead. A great place to go during a pandemic, with a spacious/sparsely filled parking lot to boot, on this ~7 mile, ~4300’ gain, S4/T5 scramble.
Perfect day for a scramble of Denman, Lane, and Plummer Peaks. We skipped Pinnacle due to time and another party traveling in an unsafe manner.
This was a scramble of the main peak of Mt. Watson. It is a nice alpine scramble with both rock and snow skills required.
