Beautiful hike along Baker Lake. Stopped at Anderson Pt for a snack and then on to Maple Grove for lunch. If the clouds had disappeared we would have had a great view of Mt. Baker and Mt. Shuskun.

We followed the falling tide out, circled the island, with a break to hike around at Fort Whitman and a couple breaks to wait out the tide, then rode the rising water back to La Conner.
3.2-mile gentle hike in this 244-acre state park on Camano Island. On this loop trail, there are views, a forest walk, birds and beach combing if you time your hike with the tide.
Easy drive just off Rte 410. Saturday parking was 60% full by 9:45am, however, the trail was NOT crowded. Very few patches of compact snow, not an issue. However, many blow down trees. A couple of the trees were in a difficult angle for passing around. The Fall was flowing nicely.

On an overcast day, the 3 of us ventured up the less travelled Wenatchee Crest ridge line - pretty much the county line- to Cairn Hill. The undulations of the ridge provided a good workout with peek a boo views of part of the Stuart Range and SW towards Manatash Ridge.

Amazing 3 day Glacier Peak trip with wonderful weather, great party and route is in beautiful shape.
Roads better than forecast. Nice backpack up toward Grace Lakes. Nice weather Saturday, snow with little wind. Some wind, snow, and maybe rain in the night. We snowshoed to Grace lakes after setting up tents.
A great trip in moderately challenging conditions on a blustery spring day!
