Long day, marginal stream/snow bridge crossings, upper trail horrible condition, fantastic scenery, high exposure, fun had by all.
We hiked to the summit with great views of Glacier Peak and other North Cascades Peaks. We enjoyed the wildflowers.
A pleasant overnight to Berkeley Park where the flowers were at peak bloom. We entered and exited via the Lake Eleanor "back door" trailhead, and traversed the full length of Grand Park twice.
This is a spectacular hike very deserving of its inclusion on Washington's 100 classic hikes.
Successful straightforward trip, no concerns (other than lack of snow heading up to Meany Crest)
This was a fun climb of a very scenic mountain that I've been admiring from afar for some time now. Was good to finally get up there!
Private climb up Kautz, carryover down DC
a bit long, but satisfying
Successful climb of the DC route in good conditions.
A beautiful traverse with sweeping views into Burnt Park and surrounding areas.
Beautiful weekend in late-August conditions
Bonanza and Copper climb, 7/14-7/17.
1 day scramble of Mt Adams
These two hikes combined led to a spectacular flower show and some amazing views in spite of clouds and fog. 10 miles and 1770 feet of elevation gain.
