This is a rugged and challenging but incredibly view-rich trek with the opportunity to see 80% of the Dolomite range along the way! Not to mention coffee and strudel mid-way through nearly every day, and warm huts with beer, wine and warm beds every night.
A beautiful day of socially distanced aid climbing at Index Lower Town Wall. We climbed the classic route City Park, among others. Keeping our aid climbing skills sharp during the pandemic. Great climbing with great partners! Click the link below to see some of the photos!
Three Day Traverse in seldom explored area in the North East Olympics out of the Upper Dungeness Trail Head
We made this into a 3-day backpack trip camping for 2 nights at beautiful Toleak Point. It was an out and back trip from the Third Beach trailhead. Our middle day turned out to be a little wetter than desired but that did not dampen our spirits as we had the big payoffs with spectacular views on the two other days. Both nights were on the south side of Toleak Point about 7 miles south of the Third beach trailhead and it was great camping right on the beach listening to the surf all night long.
Although considered a climb, the route can easily be completed without a rope. Super fun for those who are comfortable with lots of class 3 and occasional class 4 moves and much exposure in some areas.
Pleasant evening for a hike in the woods.
Fun summer weekday evening of cragging at Sun Vista Slabs.
Approach was looser than expected. Fun, casual route. Bring a purple tri-cam.

Successful 2 Day Azurite climb via Methow Trail / PCT approach.
A perfect fall trip plus a great workout at ~15 miles and ~5000’. This gorgeous traverse spanned a huge variety of multicolored terrain (meadows, summits, tarns/lakes, waterfalls, river crossings), with the Wonderland Trail gently escorting us back to the cars at the end of a long day.
Another quiet and lovely weekend on beautiful Blake Island.
Nice leisurely day, +2.5 scramble grads.
Fun day on the seracs with a great group.
Beautiful evening for a hike and dinner by the falls.
