Paddle from La Conner to Goat Island then on past Ika Island to Craft Island for lunch. Head north from Craft past the mouth of the North Fork of the Skagit River then west to the dike and back to La Conner via the fishway or portage.

Beautiful fall colors, walking through maples in the newly created Nason Ridge Community Forest, and at the peak, LOTS of larches, and of course, amazing views. Gentle, but steady climb up the side of Nason ridge to the top. Nason Ridge trail goes on to Stevens Pass.
Fantastic day scrambling up Not Hinkhouse with clear skies, endless views, snow AND larches! We decided to go up from Ingall's Pass, and return the same way after our summit due to the icy rock and snow on the route.
