This was an exploratory trip down the Samish River. Only 50cfs, which was not enough, but even if there'd been more water, there were big trees down EVERYWHERE. Not a navigable route.

WOW. Snoqualmie Lake was stunning, with two beautiful high-flow waterfalls. Bird beauties included a red-breasted sapsucker, sooty grouse, warbling vireo, and a pair of American dippers for 19 species. We spent almost an hour enjoying the lake and camaraderie.
The flowers are stunning right now, and the ridges between Para Point and Mount Baldy are snow, bug and blow down free.
