A day hike to Little Bandera followed by a short rock scramble to the true summit of Bandera Peak.

WOW. Snoqualmie Lake was stunning, with two beautiful high-flow waterfalls. Bird beauties included a red-breasted sapsucker, sooty grouse, warbling vireo, and a pair of American dippers for 19 species. We spent almost an hour enjoying the lake and camaraderie.
The flowers are stunning right now, and the ridges between Para Point and Mount Baldy are snow, bug and blow down free.

This was a successful snow scramble for nine students. The view of Rainier was obscured by clouds but there were excellent views of nearby lower peaks.

We successfully summited Meany Crest on June 1 with a strong team of four, navigating blowdown, patchy trail, and firm snow conditions. Despite icy slopes and missing crampons, we made excellent time thanks to teamwork, efficient breaks, and a solid boot track. Clear skies and fun glissades made for a rewarding day—topped off with milkshakes in Greenwater!

A long, windy day on the Coleman-Deming glacier followed by a spicy summit push to a Mount Baker sub-peak. Gusts and crevasses were in no shortage.

A perfect relaxing day. Saw a grey whale at the launch, lots of birds, interesting old houses, Camano's Statue of Liberty, very few other boats, and Mount Baker was shining in all its snowy glory!
