An amazing journey through the North Cascades with two alpine summits, glacier travel, class 4 climbing, and epic views.
An incredible traverse through the Alpine Lake Wilderness filled with mountain summits, alpine lakes, and waterfalls.
Dome Peak and almost...Sinister over a 3 1/4 days.
Single day climb of Concord, Liberty Bell and Lexington on a busy July weekend.
A tough climb up the Kautz Ice chute with a bonus summit at the third day.
A classic pac nw alpine with all the things: snow, talus, chossy rock and long exposed ridges. Definitely worth doing.
Trail in good condition, brushy in spots. Take lots of water or a filter. No problems at parking lot, lots of cars. Saw a fair amount of backpackers.
Amazing and beautiful views of whole north cascade on this climb. You will get everything from approach , bushwhacking , route finding , glacier and rock.
Beautiful two-summit scramble, but website difficulty misleading!
Great weather for my mentored lead. Had a great strong group that did well route finding and navigating the rocky ridge.
Great weather, uncrowded route on a familiar peak, and fun exploration
A gentle hike through the forest on a well maintained, popular trail to Talapus Lake and Olallie Lake. Great for beginners or those who are looking for a relatively easy trail close to Seattle and the Eastside.
NF road open, would recommend a high clearance vehicle after crossing Lennox Creek bridge. Off-trail route starts at end of the road as described in listing, no snow on this trip requiring additional elevation gain to avoid brush, approx 500 ft. No water available.
Great hike to the summit of Dickerman Mountain. Amazing views of more mountains than you can count.
