Great trip with a great group back to Goode and Storm King deep in the heart of North Cascades Nat'l Park.
This is a great trip for beginner backpackers due to a shorter length and little elevation gain. There is a huge payoff with beautiful lakeside views and many connecting trails for those wanting extra miles.
Private trip to beautiful Ruth Mt with camp in the basin just past Ruth.

Three people participated in this fun hike to the top of Church Mountain. The weather cooperated well and we had great trail conditions.
A great day for a hike with a great group. We even saw a bear on the other side of the lake!!!

Scorpion Mountain is a safe ridge hike that rewards the hiker with fantastic views!
We started at the Snowgrass Flat Trailhead heading for Old Snowy Mountain. We set up camp after Snowgrass Flats then, with lighter summit packs, bagged the summit.
Diablo Lake: Brutal paddle day in the afternoon. We experienced 16-20 mpr winds at 17 knots. It is best to explore the lake in the early morning and be off the lake by 1 pm in the afternoons. We experienced white caps, water funnels, water spays and extreme wind conditions. The power tour boats and boat shuttle wakes add to the adverse conditions.

We returned last night from a backpack trip of the Loowit Trail which circumnavigates the 33 miles around the base of Mt St Helens.
We had a lovely climb of The Tooth in warm and sunny temperatures, with the route to ourselves.
Successful hike with the Tacoma Conditioning Hiking Series class. We hiked to the upper Crystal Lake and explored trails around the lake.
We hiked to the summit of Thorp Mountain , with great views of Peaks , and Lakes . The wildflowers were beautiful .
