This lesser known Wonderland Trail 17 mile loop, makes a classic trip with big views. Competing with wildflowers, waterfalls, a suspension bridge, a glacier and a few challenges it shouldn't be missed as a local backpack destination.
A complete day- over 12 hours and over 12 miles, round trip. We had a group that was strong and committed to supporting each other, committed to contributing to our success.
Intertidal area below Constellation Park is rich in animal and seaweed diversity due to the many different types of habitats.

Moderately easy hike to former lookout. IMO wildflower & butterfly abundance & variety rivals anywhere at Mt Rainier NP without the hassle of timed entry. Corral Pass Rd can be accomplished with good tires & an SUV.
