Snowshoeing
Wenatchee Ridge, near Lake Wenatchee, is a moderately difficult, 11 mile round trip snowshoe route with up to 2,000 ft in elevation gain depending on how far up the ridge you go. The trail starts on a flat, snowy trail before ascending the ridge.
Packrafting
Packraft big roller-coaster waves and big bouncy holes on the sunny Wenatchee River. Difficulty ranges from Class III at lower to middle flows to Class III+ / Class IV- at higher flows.

Backcountry Skiing, Bikepacking, Naturalist, Snowshoeing & Trail Running
This area offers multiple choices in difficulty and destination for snowshoeing, skiing, trail running, and bikepacking using old logging roads or simply choosing appropriate open terrain. On weekends, there may be moderate snow machine use, but there is so much area that conflicts are minimal. Once above the valley floor, the views to the Stuart Range open up.
Cross-country Skiing & Snowshoeing
An easy to moderate 13 mile route trip snowshoe or ski trip with minimal elevation gain. Travel on Forest Road 74 with views of the West Fork White River and some nice rock formations.
Scrambling
West Granite is an unnamed peak 5,566 feet tall and a half mile northwest of Granite Mountain. There are several scramble routes up West Granite, leaving from the Granite Mountain trailhead or from the Talapus Lake trailhead.
