A lovely forest scramble on a misty day.
Had good wind to start, 12 MPH from the south. Produced the right amount of wind chop for the students to learn, but allowed good communication and group cohesion. As the day progressed, the wind died down, which did not provide the conditions necessary to continue.
The trip was very cold and windy but I had a great time! Elevation gain was quite manageable and the scenery was beautiful.

This moderate uphill climb to a crest and finally leading down to lakes. If done with potential icing, it proves challenging and poles are a helpful tool to staying upright.
Awesome inclement weather trip! ...with constant rain from mild to pouring; winds ~80 Kph/~50 Mph. We felt alive!
This work party was somewhat disorganized with unclear communication on what was being done and who was doing it. Really unclear directions on how to actually get to the lodge.
The weather was windy and raining at the parking lot. 10 minutes from the car the rain stopped, lots of wind but no more rain. We quickened the pace to take advantage of the favorable conditions. A great trip was had by all, car to car about 4.5 Hours.
This is a great hike with many special views, which were unfortunately lost in the clouds. The access road is annoying but tolerable washboard, but there are a few spots that are approaching impassible at any speed over 1 mph.
