Approached the SE Route on Chair Peak on June 14, 2020 and turned around below the E face at about 5,400 before starting the technical crux due to deteriorating weather conditions.

With rain everywhere, we managed a successful late=spring scramble of Red Mountain while encountering minimal precipitation, and with a minimal amount of brush bashing.
Although there was a cloud cover , we had views of Lakes and Waterfalls . We experienced no rain on this hike .Our goal was reached , the summit of Mt. Baldy .

A hastily arranged trip to mark the return of the Mountaineers to the mountains after the Great Confinement, squeezed between the rain on the west side and the closure of the Teanaway for a fugitive manhunt, we hit the sweet spot! It is great to be back!

Hiked on a misty day so there were no views. Trail is in good shape for early season, some snow on trail above 3500' but passable without traction devices (though poles with baskets help).
