There's a reason the Chuckanut Bay paddle is a favorite of many, especially during a minus tide.
Beautiful, sunny, but very warm and busy day on this popular trail.
Barely any snow left on the Brothers South Couloir route.
A great venue for stunning sunset/sunrise views of the Strait of Juan de Fuca (albeit with a bit of effort at ~5000’ gain and ~20 miles ;). The deal is sealed by an immersive hike through the pristine rain forest of Barnes Creek.
Alpine rock climb on a very committing route that is equally stunning and beautiful.
A perfect car shuttle hike makes this Eastside Trail an amazing gem! Five waterfalls and the emerald greens of the Ohanapecosh River make this descending trail a perfect hike on a hot day.
A hidden gem of a scramble protected by a bit of a bushwhack.
Strenuous hike to gorgeous views looking into the Olympics and across the Strait of Juan de Fuca. Continuing beyond the saddle above Heather Park is not for the faint of heart or those nervous about exposure.
Snow conditions were excellent. On the scramble route we ran into an 8 foot moat (at shallowest point) that couldn't be avoided. Rock head wall could not be reach for safe rock climbing.
Steep boot path up P3 followed by a ridge scramble to Web.
Successful Basic climb for McCarthy-Johnson SIG, not much snow on approach, still dirty/chossy above the chimney, used the new rappel route!
Perfect evening for a hike to two alpine lakes.
The NE Arete is a great climb, but the West Ridge is an extremely loose and fairly hazardous boulder field.

Pleasant paddle in excellent conditions to Raft and Cutts Islands launching from the Fox Island Bridge.
Ski tour up to Whitman Crest. Hiked to Summerland, booted (in ski boots) up to below Meany Crest, roped up, and then skinned up and across the Fryingpan Glacier to Whitman Crest. Scrambled the summit and had a great ski back down to where we hung our shoes.
One day Stuart trip, weather was perfect but lingering snow on Stuart slowed us down.
