Serving as the premier venue in Old Town, The Mountaineers Tacoma Program Center is a hub for Mountaineers activities, community and corporate events for private and public organizations.
Day Hiking
Hike the high mountains on the miles trails around the Tucson Basin of Southern Arizona and experience its unique and varied landscapes, outstanding views, dramatic diversity of flora, fauna, and world-class birding. The trails are easily accessed from camps and hotels in the Tucson metro area, making it a day-hiker's paradise.

Backpacking, Cross-country Skiing, Day Hiking & Snowshoeing
In summer, this is an incredible one-way trek past some of the most beautiful and least seen sections of Mount Rainier National Park's Wonderland Trail including Golden Lakes, Sunset Park and Klapatche Park. It's 26.4 miles one-way with 4,600 feet of elevation gain. In winter, take advantage of the Westside Road closure for an easy snowshoe or ski trip with gentle uphills with options to cover up to 10 miles.
Cross-country Skiing
Groomed classic and skate skiing through forests, meadows and to scenic Sahalie Falls.
Day Hiking
Hike along the White River on the Mud Mountain Trails just east of Buckley and Enumlclaw.
Urban Adventure & Urban Walking
The Mukilteo Light Station continues to play an important navigational role with its Fourth Order Fresnel lens that has a range of 12 nautical miles. In addition to the beautifully landscaped grounds and stunning works of architecture, visitors are drawn to its romantic, scenic, educational, and historical values.
Day Hiking & Trail Running
Hike to any of the waterfalls or loop hike through the waterfalls and lookouts above Multnomah Falls Lodge and the wonderfully scenic Columbia River Gorge. With its three separate drops Multnomah Falls is Oregon's most recognizable and arguably most awe-inspiring waterfall. It is also the tallest waterfall in Oregon and the most visited natural recreation site in the Pacific Northwest.

Canyoning
Murhut Creek is a sizeable tributary of the Duckabush River located on the east side of Olympic National Forest near the north end of Hood Canal. The canyoning route encompasses the bottom of the creek, from Murhut Falls down. It is rated 3CIII.

Day Hiking & Scrambling
A moderate 9.5 mile trip, mostly on trail, with 3,750 feet of elevation gain. It is a scramble only when there's snow, because the trails leads to very near the summit. It is northwest of Mount Rainier, off the White River, with magnificent views of Mount Rainier and surrounding peaks.

An easy, 8 mile round trip hike with 650 feet of elevation gain. The trail follows the Entiat River through forests up to Myrtle Lake.

A strenuous hike of 11 miles with 2,400 feet of elevation gain along Dingford Creek from the Middle Fork Snoqualmie River to Myrtle Lake.
Snowshoeing
This snowshoe trail runs between the Greenwater trailhead and Naches Pass. It intersects the PCT at the Mike Urich hut and passes along Government Meadow.
Scrambling
Naches, Yakima and Seymour peaks can be scrambled individually, in pairs or lumped together for a longer day.

Backpacking & Day Hiking
The Boulder Pass and Little Giant Pass trails lead to the Naapeequa Valley, one of the most awesome, revered and wildest valleys in the state. The route to the pass is lined with flower-covered meadows, giant old growth trees and views of granite-spired Clark Mountain and the White Mountains.
Day Hiking
A nice moderate loop hike with great views! Hike past Reflection Lake with Mount Rainier's reflection in it and take in expansive views from Faraway Rock and follow a sequence of cascades down the Paradise River. It's a 5-mile loop with 1,150 feet of elevation gain.
