Climbing
This route ascends a series of steps up the south face with several sections of rock and steep snow/ice. Grade II, several pitches of low 5 class rock, ice/snow up to 45°. This is a good early season approach to Little Tahoma's South Face and East Shoulder routes when the road to Summerland is closed.

Day Hiking & Scrambling
Two strenuous hikes of nearly ten round trip and just over 4,500 feet of elevation gain in the North Cascades. The trail to the aptly-named Lookout Mountain switchbacks steeply up through forests and meadows to a lookout with panoramic views. In early season Lookout Mountain is a snow scramble. Monogram Lake is set in a deep cirque and surrounded by many glaciated peaks, the lake provides a challenging destination worthy of the effort needed to get there.
Snowshoeing
Snowshoe to viewpoint overlooking the Twisp and Methow River valleys and the Sawtooth Range. It's 8 miles round trip with 3,100 feet of elevation gain.

An out-and-back hikes to Round Lake or Byrne Lake along Lost Creek Ridge in the Glacier Peak Wilderness. The trail switchbacks up steeply to Bingley Gap, follows the ridge and then reaches a junction with a short hike to Round Lake and longer hike to Camp Lake and Lake Byrne.
Bikepacking, Cross-country Skiing & Snowshoeing
A moderate to strenuous snowshoe trip with 800 feet of gain and 9 miles round trip on the east side of Snoqualmie Pass. When the skies are clear, enjoy views of Lake Keechelous on the way up to the lake, and Tinkham Peak is visible right across Lost Lake.
