Lovely evening for sunset walk on the bluff and the beach with 15 hikers.
Excellent trip with great views all day, although the descent in soft snow got to be a bit tedious.
Successful scramble to Silver Lining, the gorgeous panoramic highpoint on the ridge in the center of the bowl on the north side of Silver Peak.
Full alpine experience with spring conditions keeping the approach via Cave Ridge interesting.

Wow, another great sail, another late season showing for the Gray Whale repeat visitors. We had a pleasant sail in 7 to 12 knots of wind, made all points of sail and had 45 minutes of whale watching wind the wind finally die.

Originally scheduled as a scramble up Hibox, plans had to change when the road to Hibox proved to still be snowed in. After digging out a car, we headed to Alpental and climbed East Snoqualmie and Guye Peak instead.
A wonderful trip up a seldom climbed mountain in the heart of the Snoqualmie Pass region. Evolving conditions required several changes to our plans.
A full value early season alpine climb in a picturesque setting. Our team of four enjoyed a scenic camp at the partially frozen Colchuck Lake, solitude on the route, and epic views of the Stuart Range.
