Successful conditioning hike to the bench below the Haystack gully.
MUDDY! Damn muddy. No snow to speak of. Trail was open the whole way but did I mention it was muddy?
A great bad weather workout of ~5000’ gain over 12 miles (plus a short drive ;).
While overcast, no precipitation, nice route for beginners, enough good snow for snowshoes.
Hike through a local forest with well maintained trails.

Great trip with the sun making an appearance but avy conditions thwarting our Table Mt scramble.
Took advantage of the fabulous weather forecast for a great ski on the Common Corridor approach to Windy Pass.
A great Winter destination when West side conditions are bad. Good snow coverage required. The road walk out is long. Can be combined easily with Tarzan Butte.
We hiked stairways and Woodland Park in a loop route. The views were great at the Peak . We experienced no rain .
I think this run would be better categorized as trail swimming instead of trail running.
Good hike, large puddle 3/4 way around 6.5 mile loop if going clockwise.
