Firm snow at the junction of winter and summer routes. Cornices next to lookout prevented us from coming up to lookout.
This was a very enjoyable scramble with generally good snow conditions. Lots of time in the fog, but plenty of time in the sun with great views.
10+ mile hike, mostly on a road, above the Elwa river. An opportunity to walk next to your group. Beautiful campground and a nice opportunity to soak in hot springs wait for you at the top!
Paddled south about 3.5 miles from the launch at Tillicum beach, had lunch on the beach near the end of Camano Island, and came back up on the returning tide.

Snow Creek 890 to Mt. Zion is a nice trail through old, tall trees and rhododendrons. The driving approach is rough.

I cut my participation short as I found the alternative route we had to use due to logging steep, rooted, and rocky. It was fun riding back to the car though.
