Day Hiking
A moderately strenuous 11-mile round trip hike with 2,300 feet of elevation gain. The trail offers views of Silver Star Mountain and Cutthroat Peak from the pass which intersects the Pacific Crest Trail. At 1.8 miles, a 0.25-mile side-trail leads to Cutthroat Lake.

Canyoning
A Basic Canyon, usually rated v3a3II in normal flows, that is an easily accessible canyon in Cypress Provincial Park in Canada's West Vancouver, British Columbia. With four enjoyable rappels and some playful jumps, Cypress Creek has a wonderful slot feeling to it and is a great canyon for beginners.
Scrambling
This is an excellent rock scramble of a peak in Canada's British Columbia with great views as most of the route is above treeline. The route follows the North Ridge of Cypress Peak on solid rock with several route variations possible.
Snowshoeing
A moderate snowshoe trip up Forest Road 72 with views of the White River Valley, Sun Top, and Mount Rainier.

A strenuous scramble gaining 3700' of elevation and 11 miles round trip. Seldom done scramble north of the high divide in the Mount Baker Wilderness.

Damnation Peak is a strenuous, 7 mile round trip backcountry ski or winter scramble with around 3,700 ft in elevation gain. The route in follows a logging road on the SW flank of Oakes Peak and leads to outstanding views of the North Cascades.

Canyoning
A local favorite and one of the classic canyons in the area. There are great rappels in the flow and a rare opportunity to downclimb in the flow. This canyon is rated 3CIII.
Climbing
Dark Peak offers a moderate glacier climb to fantastic views. The price of admission is high, however, due to remoteness, accessibility, and a good dose of unpleasant bushwhacking. This climb requires three days to complete.

Darrington rock climbing features granite domes in scenic mountain valleys in or near the edge of the Boulder River Wilderness in the Mount Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. The Clear Creek and Squire Creek valleys have been mined and logged, but many big trees remain. The area is not only beautiful, but rugged and remote. The climbing is not sport climbing, though generally moderate in steepness, the rock offers few positive edges compared to a sport crag or gym so that footwork and balance are emphasized over finger strength and power.

Canyoning
A classic Pacific Northwest canyon, Davis Creek is an intermediate canyon in late summer, rated at v3a4III. With steep walls and lush green corridors, it has the added bonus of nearly no hiking with a short car shuttle.
