Day Hiking
A strenuous, 6.4 mile round trip day hike with 2,200 feet of elevation gain. The trail switchbacks up through forests to a lookout.
Day Hiking & Scrambling
A 4.4 mile round trip hike with 1,700 feet of elevation gain. While it's short, there are some steep sections. The reward at the summit is a classic fire lookout with great views. This area also has great wildflowers in early summer. In early spring this is a snow scramble.

Scrambling
Kyes (rhymes with size) Peak is the highest summit of the Monte Cristo group. It's starting point is the very popular, the Blanca Lake Trailhead. This scramble can be done as a strenuous one-day trip with a very likely return in the dark or as an overnight with a camp at Virgin Lake.
Sea Kayaking
This is a spectacular multi-day sea kayaking trip on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia. Explore the ancient home of the Nuu-chah-nulth First Nations, sea otters, whales, seals, sea lions, porpoises while visiting the Mission Group, Bunsby Islands, the south side of Brooks Peninsula and, of course, Rugged Point Provincial Park.

The L.T. Murray Wildlife Area is located in Kittitas County, covers approximately 118,300 acres and provides diverse public recreational opportunities.
Day Hiking
A campground at the confluence of the Clear Fork Cowlitz River, the Ohanapecosh Rivers, and Purcell Creek near Mount Rainier and just north east of Packwood. Campsites are among towering Douglas firs and red cedars.
Scrambling
The standard route is a relatively easy scramble with 7 miles and 2,700 feet of elevation gain with a hike to alpine lakes and a summit with beautiful views of the Wild Sky Wilderness. The West ridge shares the appproach and is a more challinging scramble.
The Lacey Community Center has space available for rent. It is perfect for hosting private events, banquets, meetings, or teaching skills in a classroom environment. The Lacey Community Center is beautifully situated adjacent to Woodland Creek Community Park.

A short hike with minimal elevation gain to a beautiful waterfall just off Highway 20 in the North Cascades near Ross Lake.
Scrambling
A moderate scramble in the Chiwaukum Range north of Icicle Creek in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
Day Hiking & Snowshoeing
A moderate hike in summer and showshoe in winter off of the Mountain Loop Highway. Travel through old growth cedar forest along a cascading creek to a popular cirque lake at the base of Mount Pilchuck. The low elevation of this route means the trail is often hikeable with boots and traction devices for much of the winter season.

Lake Angeles is a moderate, 7.4 mile in-and-out day hike with 2,350 ft in elevation gain. The trail is a steady steep hike up to an idyllic sub-alpine lake surrounded by fir trees.

A moderate, 8.2-mile round trip day hike with 1,900 feet of elevation gain. The trail goes up through forests, meadows and rock to a secluded lake just outside the North Cascades National Park near Mount Baker and Mount Shuksan.
Canyoning
An intermediate canyon flowing out of Shuksan Lake. A long day in a fun creek with great views. It's rated v4a3III at moderate-low water levels, and v4a4III in early to mid-season.
Sailing & Sea Kayaking
Sea kayak a cold fresh water lake in Olympic National Park. From the National Park Service website, "The pristine waters of this deep, glacially carved lake make it an ideal destination for those in search of natural beauty."

Backpacking & Day Hiking
Lake Dorothy is an easy, 3.5 mile round trip day hike with 800 ft in elevation gain. The trail goes through primeval forests, crossing Camp Robber Creek to a scenic lake.
