Good option for a Spring visit to the Teanaway region when the snowpack makes other Teanaway destinations inaccessible.
This was one of best trips I have been on so far. We had a wonderful crew and crew leader, everyone worked together and we accomplished more than I thought was possible.
Warm evening for a hike in the woods. The forest is beautiful right now.
9 scramblers had a good day on Silver King with some decent views under the clouds. Snow conditions were less than ideal yet again during this strange spring of 2022.
A wonderful and peaceful weekend on beautiful Blake Island for a fun shake down trip! Photo taken on BC CAN trip
Caught perfect weather for a great ski mountaineering trip to Mount Shuksan.
Good weather, good snow, and great views.
9 hours car to car. Lots of loose and falling rock. The pocket on the last pitch is getting larger. Purple Tricam #2 is barely big enough if you shove it all the way to the back of the pocket.
A nice sail in light winds with a fine crew.
Beautiful trail, weaving through moss-covered forested areas along the lake-side, with stunning views of Baker reflecting on the lake peaking out from time to time. However, all camps along the trail were VERY busy!
Outstanding adventure yesterday with our sister club, the Mazamas!
This trip provided additional opportunity for students to get additional practice in snow skills taught at the main snow field trip. All participants demonstrated solid performance of all skills.
Pratt Mtn is an old fav, but this time we dressed it up by dropping off the top via the west ridge and finding our way out via Rainbow and Mason lakes. A classic Andy Cahn adventure.
Lovely after work loop hike on Cougar Mountain to kick off the weekend!
Stunning views. A straight forward and fairly easy climb when the conditions are good. Be careful with the large cornice at the top of the couloir!
Great day of sailing with nice 10-15 knot winds.
Beautiful day with lots of views of the surrounding islands and lakes.
It was wet, windy, and cold. We were in snowshoes the entire time. Yet, our entire group made it to the top on this Type 1/2 adventure.
