Packrafting
A short, Class II river in a beautiful alpine setting east of Seattle that can be paddled in a half day. As long as the reservoir is full, this run typically has good flows throughout the summer.
Trail Running
A trail in Silverdale managed by the Great Peninsula Conservancy that is great for an urban walk or trail run up to 7 miles. The trail follows Clear Creek through meadows, wetlands, and forests. Leashed dogs are allowed.
Day Hiking & Trail Running
An easy, level, network of trails that allow for multiple trips of varying distances distances over the intersecting seven miles of trails. Located in Silverdale the trails mostly follow Cedar Creek, a salmon habitat, as it flows into Puget Sound's Dyes Inlet.
Backcountry Skiing & Snowshoeing
A moderate trail covering just over 3 miles with 900 feet of elevation gain. Winter recreation opportunities abound on this route south of Mount Hood which features a fire lookout with panoramic views set on Clear Lake Butte.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
This unique desert canyon is part of the Wenas Wildlife Area, and it is some of the richest wildlife habitat in the state. A strenuous, 9 mile in-and-out day hike with 2,500 feet of elevation gain.
Scrambling
A challenging scramble in the Alpine Lakes Wilderness near Baring that could be be done year 'round, depending on snow conditions. It's 8 miles round trip with, 4,500 feet of elevation gain with rock, snow, and/or brush depending on the route and season.
Climbing & Global Adventures
Experience the breathtaking views of the Mediterranean while climbing on the magnificent bolted Limestone walls in Kalymnos Greece. Visit the small Island of Kalymnos, climb and deep water solo for 1 week and then visit historical Athens for a day and a half. See the historical Acropolis Museum.
The Coach House in Olympia is managed by the Washington State Historical Society. It features an open 850 square foot space that is ideal for meetings and small gatherings. There is a room-length counter for setting up a buffet or presentation materials, a limited number of tables and chairs available for use, and it can hold 35-80 people depending on the setup.

An easy, 6 mile urban hike with 500 ft in elevation gain. Walk through a canopy of second growth forest in Coal Creek Nature Area to adjoining Cougar Mountain Regional Wildland Park.
Cross-country Skiing, Day Hiking, Snowshoeing & Trail Running
An easy 6.5 mile gravel trail that gains only 453 feet of elevation. Stroll through Kittitas County's mining history on the Coal Mines Trail from Cle Elum through Roslyn to Ronald year-round.
Climbing & Scrambling
Scramble or climb one or both peaks via Colchuck Col or Assgard Pass in The Enchantments area of the Alpine Lakes Wilderness.
Day Hiking
A moderate, 9 mile round trip day hike with 2,100 feet of elevation gain. The hike starts in a lodgepole pine forest along side Mountaineer Creek steadily climbing to an alpine lake set in granite cliffs under the towering crags of the Enchantment peaks. No dogs are allowed on this heavily used trail.

Colchuck Peak via the North Buttress Couloir is a Grade III ice climb.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
Hike the Lakes Trail that skirts Coldwater Lake and then up a hill to a viewpoint and junction with the South Coldwater Ridge Trail. Consider hiking the Lakes Trail & South Coldwater Ridge Loop for a little more mileage and elevation gain.
Day Hiking
Three moderate hikes at Mount Saint Helens National Volcanic Monument that all leave from the Boundary Trail trailhead near Johnston Observatory. Explore the varied volcanic landscape on the north side of Mount St. Helens.
Stewardship
A quiet campground with 16 campsites, located along the shore of the Duckabush River. Several of the campsites are near the river.
Backpacking & Day Hiking
A beautiful desert area along the west side of the Columbia River south of Wenatchee and northeast of Ellensburg. There are few to no official trails, and travel is cross-country and/or on jeep tracks. Enjoy the many wildflowers that bloom in spring, and maybe even spot Bighorn Sheep.

Colonel Bob is a scramble of 8 miles with 3,500 feet of gain.
